Tobias Schwarz holds a BA in Visual Communication from the University of the Arts Berlin and studied Animation at Ballyfermot College in Dublin, the European partner school to Sheridan College, Canada.

Before stepping into his role as a Story Artist and Director, Tobias worked as a character animator on several award-winning feature films for studios including Walt Disney, Netflix, and Fox Animation.

Driven by his passion for drawing and storytelling, he soon gravitated toward storyboarding and now works as a Story Artist and Director for animated feature films.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Tobias is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of artists and enhancing their understanding of story craft. He is a guest lecturer at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and The Animation Workshop Viborg, and continues to explore story structure and character development as a lifelong student himself.
